Level Design


I wanted a unique level esthetic. So got to brainstorming some enemies and 2 came to mind, The Thriver and the Pokey Bub.

Pokey Bubs are ground enemies that follow you around. While Thrivers are air enemies that stay stationary mostly but shoot projectiles at you.

I wanted another enemy so I thought, and thought, until my little brother gave me a sketch with little context and said it should be in the game. That sketch later turned out to become the Spiker, an enemy that moves up and down and deals 2 damage and you deal 0.5 damage.

These Enemies were perfect for making a unique level design, but I needed one more thing, blocks that don't hurt you, and don't get hurt. these blocks move fast in either horizontal positions, or vertical positions. 

I also wanted to make one more thing, and that was platforms. platforms that when you stand on them, they move forward so you can progress.
